The Values of Word of Life Church
We believe the Scriptures, Old and New Testament, are God’s divinely inspired words. They are infallible and just.
We believe in the Triune Godhead — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation.
We believe salvation has been provided for all people through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe by confessing his or her sins to God, every person will be forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness.
We believe in water baptism and observance of the Lord’s Supper.
We believe it is God’s divine will that every believer receive the promise of the Father; the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with new tongues.
We believe each believer is to grow in grace and maturity in Christ. This is accomplished by prayer, study of God’s Word and discipleship through the church as the Body of Christ.
We believe that redemption has provided total health and prosperity for every believer in spirit, soul and body.
We believe in the sanctity of human life and that life begins at the moment of conception.
We believe chastity for Christian single men and women; and the sacredness of Christian marriage.
We define marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
We believe there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and unjust. For the just, Eternal habitation with God, and for the unjust, eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
