Pastor Jim & Sheree Hall
Senior Pastors
Pastor Jim and his wife, Sheree, pioneered and pastored Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Hominy, Oklahoma for 8 years following graduation from Rhema in 1981. In 1988 the Lord began to speak to Pastor Jim in prayer to “get his house in order for a change” as well as sensing a strong draw north. With many confirmations, in December 1989, Pastor Jim made a decision to leave the familiar and comfortable homeland of Oklahoma to obey the Spirit of the Lord and move his family north to Minnesota. Word of Life Hutchinson is now in its 30th year of ministry, celebrating Pastor Jim and Sheree as the Senior Pastors for the past 20 years.
While attending Bible School in Sweden, Pastor Jim received a supernatural vision. The vision was an aerial outline of five states - Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa - along with south-central Canada with flames of a fire coming from the area of Hutchinson and spreading throughout Minnesota and into the other regions. In 2007 Word of Life expanded to begin Word of Life of Mankato, Minnesota. A new congregation of lively believers in Mankato is being raised up to continue building God’s kingdom. Along with pastoring these two works, Pastor Jim is honored to serve on Dr. Mark T. Barclay’s President’s Cabinet and Executive Board of Directors and on Dr. Hilton Sutton’s Executive Board of Directors.
Pastor Jim is a dedicated student of the Word of God providing a healthy and balanced spiritual diet reflected in the lives of strong disciples. He has a passion for the local church and for believers to live stable, strong Christian lives reflected in a holy lifestyle.
Pastor Jim and his bride, Sheree, have been married for 35 years. They have three grown children who work alongside them in ministry and reside in Hutchinson with their families.
Josh Hall
Youth Pastor
Josh Hall and his wife, Anna, oversee Kidz Zone Children’ ministry and theCall student ministries at Word of Life. They also assist Pastor Jim and Sheree in serving as associate ministers.
The name “theCall Student Ministries” comes from 2 Timothy 1:8-9: “Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.”
The Lord has given Josh a vision for raising up disciples of Christ, ready to suffer for the cause of Christ living with faith that nothing in this life can shake. The Lord has put a first step vision of 1,000 young disciples raised up, actively working in the Harvest to see their generation turned to Jesus.
Tim Hall
Worship Leader
By Tim teaching himself how to play guitar at the age of 17, the Lord put His plan in motion that now sees Tim leading the worship ministry at Word of Life. Tim is an anointed songwriter and musician seeking to usher the Body of Christ into intimate worship with the Lord. Tim oversees the worship for the Hutchinson and Mankato churches with his wife, Tara at his side also working in children’s and ladies ministry.
Tim and Tara have two beautiful children, Elliot (19 months) and Moriya (3 months).
Jamie Dalbec
Children’s Director
Jamie Dalbec and his wife, Sandy, are directors over the Kidz Zone Children’s ministry ages nursery through 5th grade. Jamie specifically teaches in the Refuge (1st-5th grade) each week.
Jamie and Sandy both attended and graduated from Livets Ord Bible School in Upsalla, Sweden. After they were married they were sent on the mission field to Estonia until God brought them back to Hutchinson, where they have been faithfully serving at Word of Life ever since. Jamie was brought on staff in the summer of 2008.
Jamie and Sandy have 3 children, Madlain, Luka and Salome.
